The UP has a lot of great bakeries. There are some well known bakeries like Trenary Home Bakery which makes Trenary toast. Or the Jampot bakery up by Eagle Harbor which is run by Catholic monks. But really almost every town has a bakery. Many great bakeries are attached to restaurants or grocery stores. Some pasty shops also sell fresh bakery. We will be featuring many bakeries, but if you have a favorite local bakery let us know. Fresh bakery is a special local treat and wont set you back a lot of money.
