The Mountain biking scene has really exploded in the UP with about 20 bike shops and 12 different bike clubs. What some people don't realize is that the UP has some of the best paved road biking in the country as well. There are thousands of miles of paved roads which travel through beautiful scenery and have very little car traffic.
